Luthier Olivier Planchon warmly welcomes you into his workshop, nestled in the scenic region just north of Nice, where he shares his passion for the art of guitar making. This immersive studio visit offers a unique opportunity to step into the world of lutherie and discover the meticulous craftsmanship behind a concert guitar. During your visit, Olivier will take you through each stage of the creation process, from selecting wood to shaping, assembling, and refining the instrument. He will explain how he blends traditional wood carving techniques with modern innovations to achieve the perfect balance of sound, structure, and aesthetics. Please note that bookings are required for this experience, and visits are preferably scheduled in the morning, between 9:30 and 13:00.
