A unique insight into glassblowing

Whether it is with a group of friends, your family or a school outing – visit Stewart Hearn’s glassblowing workshop located in his back-garden barn. This one-hour visit is a basic introduction to the material, the studio, the tools and equipment used in the process of glassblowing. As well as a blowing demonstration and acquiring a better understanding of the craft, you will enjoy a cup of tea and have time to admire Stewart’s signature pieces in his shop. For school classes, the visit can be incorporated as part of the material science curriculum and the children will leave with a beautiful paperweight.
