The glass lampworking demonstration, held by the talented glass artist Mauro Vianello in his workshop, is addressed to anyone interested in better understanding what lies behind the beauty of the glass artworks handcrafted with this ancient Venetian method. A wide array of unique pieces is displayed in Mauro’s workspace and shop, located in the area of the Rialto Bridge, a very inspirational context. During the demonstration, Mauro will illustrate the main traditional techniques of this craft and visitors will be shown each phase of the creative process, thus going deeper into the unexpected characteristics of this peculiar glasswork.
