Would you like to broaden your knowledge of lampworking? Lucio Bubacco offers individual courses that can last one or more days, depending on your needs. Each participant has a workbench with all the necessary equipment, including a gas and oxygen flame and a small electric kiln, plus goggles, gloves and all individual protection to work with fire and glass. During the workshop, participants are given a series of 20-minute demonstrations after which they work on their own for an hour or two to practise what they see, followed by Lucio Bubacco and his assistants. Travel, food and accommodation are not included in the price.

Lucio Bubacco regularly holds lampworking courses in his studio in Murano. Each course lasts an average of 10 days (8 hours per day) and welcomes 10 people from around the world. Each participant has a workbench with all the necessary equipment, including a gas and oxygen flame and a small electric kiln, plus goggles, gloves and all individual protection to work with fire and glass. No foundation is necessary to take part. There is an initial theoretical preparation and after that you can immediately start doing something very simple, such as melting a glass sphere. Each participant is followed by Lucio and one or two assistants in addition to being followed by a manager who accompanies the students and organises their stay. Travel, food and accommodation are not included in the price.
