Eco-friendly floristry course in Paju

with Lee Hyunju

A green approach to floral design

Meet Korean flower designer Lee Hyunju in her atelier in beautiful Paju, close to the mountains of Gyeonggi region, and learn her alternative techniques to arrange flowers in an eco-friendly way. Basic classes are designed for absolute beginners who want to learn the basis of sustainable floristry. After explaining the foundations of flower design, Lee will teach her students to take care of cut flowers and to make simple compositions without using plastic foam, substituting it with chicken wires, flower frogs and other “alternative” techniques. Students will have a go at vase arrangements, hand-tied bouquets and table centrepieces.
