Experience floristry in the idyllic scenery of Château Wodémont, a historic estate in the Belgian countryside. Flower designer Emily Avenson will show you her beautiful one-acre garden, where she grows all the flowers for her arrangements, and explain the basic techniques of environmentally-friendly floristry. The class will cover two topics such as centerpieces in the morning and dimensional bouquets in the afternoon. Emily will provide all necessary material such as flower frogs and ceramic bowls but students will have the opportunity to pick their own flowers from the garden. This course can be two or three days long and the price varies according to group size.
