Paper cutting requires a few basic skills and the understanding of how to get the best out of these skills. In each session, we will work through a variety of paper cutting techniques that will build confidence in the participants, helping them to achieve a final artwork. We explore different paper thicknesses and textures, the building up of layers and depth and the importance of composition. Techniques include gluing, blade changing and 'trace and transfer’. All materials and tools are provided, including a lit LED frame to display the artwork in. Seasonal workshops are held at Niko brown Gallery.
