Clay throwing course in Luxembourg

with Claire Royer

Learn the gestures of throwing clay

Claire Royer creates utilitarian ceramics in sandstone and porcelain. Since the opening of her studio in September 2019, she has organised courses for people of all levels interested in ceramics and wanting to learn and improve the unique gestures of throwing clay. During the course each participant will progressively be able to create a cylinder, a bowl and then more elaborate shapes. Courses take place every Monday throughout the year except during school summer holidays. All clay and necessary tools are provided. The turning area, with five potter’s lathes, is located under a glass roof providing a luminous and conducive atmosphere for learning.
