Ceramic jewellery workshop in Madrid

with Julieta Álvarez

Handcrafting ceramic jewellery

Clay has been used to make jewellery for millennia. It requires technique and precision, as well as imagination and creativity. For Julieta, experimenting is central to the crafting of her ceramic rings, necklaces and other jewellery pieces. With her course, she wishes to teach everyone the basic notions of cutting, crimping, weighing and scaling ceramic jewellery. Julieta will help her students develop their most creative and artistic side so that they can create jewellery pieces of their own. The course takes place over two Saturdays and the price includes materials, tools, firing a ceramic kiln and a breakfast. Each session lasts 4 hours.
