In this workshop, Doreen Bayley will teach participants to shape a basket using a covered or an open core. The participants will learn basic as well as fancier stitches. They will also learn to start a basket from the base or from the top and will discover how a regular traditional basket can become a textile sculpture. Doreen’s workshops are 5 hours per month. Her workshop is located in Colonia del Sacramento, which is 177 kilometres from the capital Montevideo and only 50 kilometres away from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
