In this course with Genoveva Hita, participants will explore various techniques that will help them discover the beauty and harmony of silk painting using high-quality silks of different weights and textures. No prior experience is necessary for this course, and learners will discover a wide range of techniques in an ideal environment. The techniques that students will learn include gutta, watercolour, salt crystals, shibori, wet-on-wet blending, and wet-on-dry blending. They will be able to take home the piece they have worked on. Near the artisan's workshop in Guadalajara is the Cotilla Palace, which participants can also visit and explore. This course costs 75 EUR per person, including materials, and must be booked in advance.
