Porcelain factory tour in Karlovy Vary

Porcelain manufacturer Rudolf Kämpf, in the heart of Karlovy Vary region, is today the only manufacturer in the Czech Republic devoted to creating high-end porcelain tableware by hand. Each piece is created in limited or one-off editions, thanks to the skills and creativity of the talented craftspeople of the company, who complete a long training before being admitted to work in the factory. A guided tour of the Rudolf Kämpf workshops offers the possibility to learn how white, pink and ivory porcelain are made, leading the visitors through several departments of the manufacturer in order to witness the handiwork carried out by the throwers, the painters and the printers.
