Spend one week at Château Wodémont, a historic estate in the Belgian countryside, to immerse yourself in nature and floristry. Flower designer and farmer Emily Avenson will guide her students in a creative itinerary, with emphasis on self-learning. Every morning she will lead an exercise of choice, on topics that may range from hand-tied bouquets to still-life urns, centrepieces and natural dyes. After lunch, everyone will have free time for creating by themselves, exploring the garden or to take a walk in the forest in search of inspiration. The retreat includes classes, accommodation, full access to the garden and studio, free use of flower materials, and meals.
