Born and raised in the labyrinthine medina of Fez, Youness Horri crafts furniture in designs that are inseparable from the city’s intricate play of light, shadow and texture. His childhood wanderings through centuries-old riads sparked an enduring fascination with the dialogue between space and object. Trained in interior design yet rooted in local tradition, the head artisan weaves the knowledge of his team of master carpenters, brass artisans and potters directly into the creative process.
Though Youness views the greatest works of his atelier as still unfolding, the vision is clear: to present Moroccan craftsmanship not as a relic but as a dynamic, evolving force. The workshop's upcoming collections showcase the essence of Fez, its history, textures and spirit, made fit for the contemporary world.
