Founded by Jessika Balzer, Project Dyad brings together a growing team of artisans who create bags that balance considered design with practical, repeatable making. The atelier functions as a focused workshop, where ideas move carefully from concept to production. Each new style begins with an exploration of shape, scale and colour, followed by a rigorous process of testing. Makers contribute feedback that strengthens both the final piece and the methods used to produce it.

Project Dyad artisans guide each piece from cut to finish, supported by machinists and a production manager. The approach is intentionally non-traditional in favouring simplicity, experimentation and clear construction. With a strong emphasis on sharing skills and training aspiring makers, Project Dyad values patience, attention to detail and learning through practice. The atelier cultivates a collaborative environment where contemporary craft is free to evolve.
