Reinventing the scents of civilisations

It is a rich and complex path that led Lorenzo Villoresi to found his perfume making maison in 1990 in the heart of Florence. Raised on the Tuscan hills, among the unforgettable aromas of vegetable gardens, Lorenzo went on to study ancient philosophy and Biblical philology, which led him to explore the ancient Jewish, Egyptian and Mesopotamian cultures. During his research trips to the Middle East, he discovered the world of essences and developed a deep interest. In a few years, this gave birth to an internationally renowned artistic perfumery, with internal artisanal production, focused on perfumes tailored to the individual.

In 2006, Lorenzo won the Prix François Coty of Paris and since 2022 is Master of Art and Craft. Each of his creations interprets a vision that relates to different eras and cultures. The maison develops personal, home and hospitality collections for hotel and resort chains. The now iconic hexagonal bottle of its perfumes is widespread in over 50 countries around the world.
