The Gianetti name has been synonymous with high-quality, handmade accessories for horses since 1881, when Angelo Gianetti opened his small workshop in Saronno, a town in the north of Italy. Back then, his core business consisted of producing and repairing harnesses for working horses, carriages and farm wagons. But time passed, and things changed. In the 1930s, with the advent of cars, the family business shifted towards equestrian sports, and the saddle became the atelier’s flagship product.
What has remained unchanged to this day is the passion and skills handed down from one generation to the next, resulting in beautiful, high-grade leather saddles, bridles, reins, halters and more. Selleria Gianetti's products are renowned all over the world. Nowadays the atelier is run by the founder’s great-grandchildren Giuseppe and Fabio. Five artisans work there, using rare tools from France that are no longer available in Italy. The signature of Selleria Gianetti is to care for each and every saddle as though it were a piece of art.
