Festina Lente Studio is a workshop specialised in the restoration of works of art, born originally from the friendship of two skilled and enterprising women. Elisa Monfasani, restorer, and Emanuela Fistos, restoration technician embarked on a shared professional project. The name of their studio, Festina Lente, is a wink to the tradition of the works that they restore. During the Covid-19 lockdown, Elisa and Emanuela spread the word about their project and knowledge of textile art and the culture of conservation through Instagram and Facebook.

In June 2021, this virtual space was transformed into an atelier for the restoration and conservation of textile and leather materials and artifacts, with its headquarters in Bobbio, a town rich in history. In Festina Lente the restorers follow the most up-to-date regulations and methods, working for institutions, museums, foundations and private collections.
