Relaunched in 2012 by Cristiano Barbarulo, the atelier combines heritage and modern flair through its signature creation, the cufflink. At the heart of Barbarulo’s identity, each cufflink is a work of design and craftsmanship, rich in detail, symbolism and storytelling. A notable collection is the Qatar Doors series, inspired by the ornate geometry of traditional Qatari doorways, crafted in gold, enamel and precious stones.
For the 2012 America’s Cup in Naples, Barbarulo introduced the Winch cufflink, an ingenious kinetic piece featuring a functional crank and rope, evoking the precision and spirit of sailing. Educational collaborations also play a role in the atelier – a project with university students led to a vibrant collection inspired by Mediterranean materials and aesthetics.
