Artèpura has its roots in Placido Pasini’s leather workshop, opened in Milan in the 1960s. For over half a century, the Pasini family manufactured bags and leather accessories for the greatest international fashion brands. When Placido’s son, Pier Maurizio, decided to push the boundaries of his creativity, the workshop's output began to venture into the realm of luxury interior design. So was born the present-day Artèpura. The atelier specialises in versatile wall art and decorative panels for high-end interiors, from yachts to private jets, exclusive homes to hotels.
Every product is unique and tailor-made from project to execution, fashioned from a surprising mix of traditional Italian technique and innovative design. The choice of high quality materials is key: the best natural leather is ever-present, boldly accompanied by other precious elements such as marble, mother-of-pearl, liquid metals, resins and wood. The results are creative pieces that can be easily integrated into furniture, doors, columns and more, transforming architectural elements into works of art.
