Annick Roulet’s love for millinery goes back a long way, starting as a hobby with her sewing machine. One day, in 2011, she decided to fully train in millinery and dived into techniques from moulding hats to sewing straw, under the guidance of craftswoman Isabelle Haas. Today, Annick mixes traditional techniques and materials with modern developments, allowing for more creativity. "I sometimes use synthetic hybrid materials and 3D printing to make my hat moulds," she shares. Making sure each one is uniquely made for its future owner, Annick's aim with every hat is to fashion a piece that looks good even when turned upside down, inside out, or left lying around. "No loose threads. Everything neatly assembled. Like magic," she says.
