Miniature paper cutting: reimagining Swiss tradition

Swiss artist Marc Schweizer specialises in miniature paper cutting, bringing exceptional precision to a craft deeply rooted in Swiss tradition. Inspired largely by nature, his work explores intricate silhouettes and the graphic balance between black and white. During the live demonstration at Homo Faber 2026, Marc will hand cut a bird medallion from paper using silhouette-cutting techniques. The composition will be assembled through collage and finished with touches of gold leaf.
