Païvi Rintaniemi is a rare ceramicist who sculpts outsize artistic objects in clay. She believes in the slow, meditative creative process, and her lessons are not only geared towards acquiring the necessary skills to make a ceramic object, but also the path the creative mind has to follow. Païvi often works on her own projects alongside her students, and her comments and musings on her own creativity are a lesson in themselves. There is a small showroom next to her workshop, where sculptures and objects can be purchased, and she holds an open day every Thursday from 10am to 5pm.
