Porcelain casting workshop in Berlin

In this workshop, you will create a casting mould from plaster of an object of your choice. The mould is suitable for 50-100 casts. You will learn how to examine a model for suitability and how a one or multi-part mould is constructed, inserted and boxed out. You will learn to calculate the correct proportions of water and plaster powder and how to mix it. The casting and de-moulding process will be demoed. The visit to the Manufactory workshop will last 5 hours and includes the creation of a one or multi-part plaster cast mould. You will bring your own models to cast.
