At Made For A Woman, natural Malagasy raphia is transformed into intricate creations using traditional braiding, weaving, crochet, embroidery, knotting and macramé techniques. The atelier was founded in Madagascar in 2019 by social entrepreneur Eileen Akbaraly, who envisioned a space where exceptional craftsmanship and human development could flourish together.
