Hydrangea in natural concrete with roots

This sculptural hydrangea is handcrafted from 90g Italian crepe paper and hand-painted with Japanese acrylics to capture the layered tonality of fresh blooms. The aluminium and steel wire stem is wrapped in cotton thread to convey an organic look. Set into a block of natural concrete, the base includes visible roots.
