Passionflower in natural concrete with roots

This stylised passionflower, or Passiflora, is handcrafted from 90g Italian crepe paper and hand-dyed with Japanese acrylic paint by flower artist Marisa Tatibana. The aluminium and steel stem is wrapped with cotton thread to enhance detail and realism. The piece is mounted on a block of natural concrete and features visible roots.
