These vases by Sebastiano Fischer were wheel thrown and fired using the raku technique. They were finished with glazes incorporating elements from the island of Pantelleria in Sicily. Drawing on the form of the Korean moon jar, the pieces evoke respectively the spirituality and depth of the night, and the colours of Pantelleria.
