Bleached

This stool by Erez Nevi Pana was created from wood and loofah, which were stitched, carved and immersed in salt-rich waters to encourage natural crystallisation. Over time, layers of salt accumulated across the surface, transforming the structure into an organic sculptural form. Harnessing the salt generated as a by-product of potash extraction in the Dead Sea, the work reclaims industrial excess while embracing mineral crystallisation as a participant in the creative process.
