This sculpture by Sejin Bae was crafted from paper clay fragments collected over several years, cut into uniform pieces and joined together to create the form. Taking inspiration from Samuel Beckett’s Waiting for Godot, the work is composed of thousands of elements, each inscribed with a serial number. The numbers are sequential, continuing from one work to the next within the same series.
