Stoneware, Glaze
These vessels by Marcin Kuberna were coil built from stoneware. The forms were finished with thick glazes that developed textured surfaces during high-temperature firing. Both pieces explore geological landscapes. Vessel 80 portrays underwater environments, with the white glaze suggesting corals and marine sediment. Vessel 180 interprets volcanic terrains via a black glaze resembling lava and basalt formations.
