©All rights reservedSamurai mandolin
This mandolin is decorated with an inlay depicting a samurai, created using maple, spruce, ebony, rosewood, eucalyptus and mother-of-pearl. The work was made to be exhibited in Japan, where it remained for a year. The shape is an original design, developed by blending two forms: an older, smaller form producing a sweeter sound, closer to historical tastes and less powerful, and a larger one, closer to modern needs.
