Walnut Pod
The ecological significance of the Walnut Pod goes beyond what it represents visually and is about celebrating the entire life cycle of the materials. The piece starts with driftwood as the stem of the pod, while daylily, iris and other plant fibres are woven over the reed in a twining technique.
