Noise: lyrebirds and cicada

This vessel by Jane du Rand was hand built from multiple clay types, including white rake, porcelain and mahogany clay. Glass mosaic was applied to the surface. Reflecting the artist’s connection to the Australian bush, the piece depicts the creatures she encounters while bushwalking.
