Shatranj

This is a contemporary chess set crafted from ash and walnut. Its form draws inspiration from Middle Eastern motifs. Each piece is shaped with flowing curves and subtle distinctions. All pieces are turned on a lathe, emphasising precision and continuity, while the knight is carved by hand, allowing for expressive detail and individuality.
