These two chess pieces are part of a unique set and board crafted over a long collaboration between Muriel Balensi and the glass master Giovanni Nicola. Each piece of the chess set is made from an elaborate glass bead handmade by Muriel, incorporating gold leaf and complex decorations, that is further developed by Giovanni with elements and details. The pieces are an impressive technical achievements mixing two different savoir-faire of Murano's tradition: glass lampworking and glass furnace techniques.
