Altered Vase 1

This series of white porcelain vases begins with wheel thrown forms that are later pressed by hand to create irregular shapes. Subtle shifts in flow and centre create natural tension. A crystalline glaze produces dispersed crystal patterns, with each surface varying through firing and cooling conditions.
