This wooden installation was created during Homo Faber Fellowship 2025/26 by boatbuilder Stephen Beresford based in the UK, and Swiss-British fellow Line Packer. This piece depicts the creation of a modern version of a late 19th century Windermere skiff. Lofting, a full-scale drawing process, helped Stephen and Line visualise the boat’s shape. The technique of steam-bending is used in its construction.
