Windermere rowing skiffs

These are three traditionally built wooden rowing skiffs measuring almost six metres. Two of them, Siskin and Toucan, feature a traditional fitout. The third one, Pintail, has a clinker construction. Their components are hand fastened together with copper and bronze fastenings. They feature metal rowlocks and seat rails, and hand-made spruce sculls, known as oars.
