Untitled II

This shell-like porcelain vessel lies on its side in an oval form. The surface is wet-sanded to achieve a water-worn stone texture. Muted blue and red tones follow the undulating surface. Split from the lip, the form falls inward, allowing light to penetrate the otherwise closed volume.
