The Sun Continues to Rise
This bowl takes the form of a shell, with a rounded base and a continuous curve. One side curls inward while the other sweeps upward. Gradations of deep orange to yellow follow the movement of the form and fissures. The piece is created using an original slip-casting process and fired multiple times.
