Calls VI

This brooch is made from copper electroformed velvet. The velvet has been sewn into an organic, hollow shape. The copper, which has oxidised to purple, is seeping through the weaves of the fabric and accumulating in growths on its edges. The velvet has a shifting blue-purple hue.
