This piece was made with a pre-existing mould given to Shun Kumagai. A gallery owner and antique collector presented him with a carved wooden Buddha’s hand, which immediately inspired him. Shun's signature non-translucent glass with subtle gradations of colour reveals the beauty inherent in the form.
