Palette of cochineal

This horizontal Navajo tapestry features jagged, horizontal bands in varying widths. Hand woven with hand spun wool with natural dye derived from cochineal insects, the palette transitions through rich browns, crimsons, oranges and tans, finishing with yarn tassels in each corner.
