Some Strings Attached

This is part of a triptych created with embroidery and punch needle. The soft comfort and the symbols in the punch needle are the layers representing the home. The figure represents a phase of life far from loved ones: the missing, longing, the presence of love, laughter, fear and the inevitable - leaving.
