Spiralpot #5

This oval-shaped vessel is Yoko Ichikawa's attempt to utilise offcuts of animal hide. As the name suggests, this work features many spirals. Offcuts are first spirally cut into threads with scissors. These threads are then twisted into cords. The cords are subsequently coil-built into the vessel's shape and secured with cotton threads.
