This oval shaped platter was created for a Danish chef for the world championships of the Bocuse d’Or. It evokes the idea of sand ripples, with a textured white skirt flowing from a circular pool of textured and hammered silver in the centre. Mounted on the silver pool are two small wavy dishes with seaweed or seagrass like textures. The idea was to create a dreamscape setting on which to display the chef’s gourmet food.
