In this piece, a translucent female torso hovers, surrounded by a cluster of cobalt-hued hands. The pearlescent surface is achieved through pâte de verre kiln-cast glass, a technique that holds light within the form rather than reflecting it outward. The hands, a recurring motif in Anna’s work, extend around the body in open supplication.
