In this pair of goblet-shaped vessels in translucent rose and amber, each stem extends into sculpted arms that wrap around the bowl. Made using the pâte de verre kiln-cast glass technique, the work combines hand carved forms with short sayings about expectations of celebration and its associated rituals. The recurring use of body parts highlights Anna’s interest in integrating figurative detail within functional forms.
