Drops, rose

This handcrafted sculpture, made from coloured porcelain, is part of Lea Mi Engholm’s Drops series. Each piece is formed by layering drops of liquid porcelain, combined while still soft and pliable. Lea intentionally avoids using tools, working instead with just her hands and the raw clay to highlight the inherent qualities of the material. Her works serve as a visual manifestation of a physical process, capturing the essence of the material and the passage of time.
